La strada del vino e dell’olio…
…Costa degli Etruschi covers a route of over 150 km in length along the Tyrrhenian coast and Island of Elba in the province of Livorno, reaching a part of the province of Pisa. In this area you can taste a glass of wine in one of the cellars surrounded by the vineyards and the green of the Mediterranean scrub, with the intense blue of the sea in the background.
The Territory
The Etruscan Coast is a stretch of the Tuscan coast that extends from Livorno to Piombino including also Elba Island and some town in the hinterland. The name comes from the presence of the Etruscans who settled in this area as the 9th century BC.
The mild climate, pristine beaches, thick pinewoods and green of the vineyards make the Etruscan Coast a dream area, where you can admire beautiful landscapes that you can enjoy all year round. Discover the villages that are part of it!
