La Regola winery is situated on the Tuscan Coast , an area always renowned for the production of excellent wines. The region, located in the valley of the river Cecina, close to Riparbella , is plentiful of vineyards, olive groves and cypress tree so eloquently celebrated by Giosuè Carducci who dedicated his poem to the nearby Bolgheri. The mild climate, thanks to the sea breezes, and the soil, mostly sandy and clay, with the presence of fossil shells, allow the perfect ripening of the grapes. Our wines come out elegant, with a strong character and long persistence.

History
The Podere la Regola winery is located on the Tuscan coast, just 4 km from the Tyrrhenian sea in the Cecina river valley, north of Bolgheri in the Municipality of Riparbella. The company was founded in 1990 and is run by the brothers Luca and Flavio Nuti.
In the current 25 hectares of vineyards, certified organic since 2016, wines are produced mainly based on merlot, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc, which is 100% the blend of the symbolic wine the CRU ``La Regola``, repeatedly awarded with the three glasses of Gambero Rosso, while Viogner, sauvignon blanc and chardonnay are the main blends for the whites, but without forgetting the indigenous Sangiovese and Vermentino vines. It also produces a passito from Trebbiano, Malvasia and Colombana grapes, the ``sondrete`` and a classic Brut method, entirely made in the company, of at least 36 and 60 months on Manseng-based yeasts.
