A territory, sweet hills sloping to the sea, where the grapevine gives wines of a unique and authentic character: this is what Bolgheri means to us, our home and our land. Our families is committed to growing it since the 50s, following the tradition. Today we have invested our passion, dedicating ourselves to the world of wine, helped by these territories and their nature. Working day by day with commitment we want to create wines which are able to spread our sacrifice and the spirit of these places.
History
Fattoria Casa di Terra was founded in 1950 by the Frollani family when they moved from Marche to Tuscany, Bolgheri. At first the family was used to grow olive trees, fruit and vegetables but in the 90’s Gessica and Giuliano Frollani (brother and sister) turned the family business into winemaking. Casa di Terra is still a family owned and managed estate, on a surface of 120 ha , with 45 ha of vineyards in the Doc Bolgheri and Igt Toscana area. The rest of the surface is still cultivated with olive trees, crops or dedicated to hospitality with our farmhouse apartments.
